Join us for a weekend of exploring how preparing for our own death can bring greater meaning and peace into everyday life. End of Life Matters begins with a Thursday evening Open House talk on the Buddhist View of Death and Dying. Friday evening opens the conversation with the film, Consider the Conversation followed by facilitated discussion. The Saturday/Sunday program is an opportunity to consider the Elements of Conscious Dying and one’s personal relationship to death. Included topics are writing an Ethical Will, Creating Sacred Space and Ritual, expression through the arts, Advance Directives, 5 Wishes, Hospice, Green Burial, and Disposition.


Each workshop participant will receive:
• A MOLST (Maryland Order for Life Sustaining Treatment)
• Five Wishes — an Advance Directive booklet
• Resource packet on a variety of topics

To guarantee your place for End of Life Matters, please register by September 15th when it will be open to other community groups.  Suggested Fee: $165 (includes a $15 materials fee)
