Full Moon Shambhala Sadhana

January 12th—December 4th (2017)

Date details +
    Room: Secondary Shrine Room/Classroom

The Sakyong composed the Shambhala Sadhana as a way to celebrate and strengthen our understanding of basic goodness and enlightened society. This remarkable practice also serves as a way to bind the Shambhala community in kinship, vision, loyalty, and delight.

Monthly Full Moon Shambhala Sadhana gatherings are specifically meant for people who have already committed to the path of warriorship. In other words, these gatherings are meant for people who are making regular membership donations to their Shambhala center, or who regularly volunteer to support center programs & activities, or who commit themselves to a regular practice and study. The intention is for all members, including their families, to feel welcome.

The practice itself will run from 6:30pm to about 7:30pm, with tea and conversation to follow afterwards.
