Shambhala Day - Year of the Earth Dog (Updated)

February 16th (2018)

Date details +
    Room: Main Shrine Room

On this day, when we enter the Year of the Earth Dog and celebrate the Shambhala New Year together, we will gather to share traditions, practice and generosity.  Shambhala Day is an opportunity for us all to reflect on the past year and set our intentions for the coming New Year.  The Year of the Earth Dog brings with is qualities of loyalty, integrity, joy, and generosity.  We have an opportunity on this day to help further the critical work of creating Enlightened Society and coming together to honor our own traditions and culture.   Our teacher, Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche, will offer teachings to the entire Shambhala community around the planet guiding us towards that Enlightened Society.

Please join us for any or all of the events scheduled for this important day.
