    Room: Secondary Shrine Room/Classroom

Families and children are welcome at this event!

The Sakyong composed the Shambhala Sadhana as a way to celebrate and strengthen our understanding of basic goodness and enlightened society. This remarkable practice also serves as a way to bind the Shambhala community in kinship, vision, loyalty, and delight.

Monthly Community Shambhala Sadhana gatherings are specifically meant for Center members to rouse energy and strengthen community by practicing together. The intention is for all members, including their families, to feel welcome.

In keeping with our Thursday night Taste of Shambhala format, a light, wholesome dinner will be served at 6pm. This will include kid-friendly foods such as mac and cheese, chicken nuggets or pizza. The Sadhana practice itself will run from 6:30pm to about 7:30pm, with informal socializing in the Community Room afterwards.

Parents are welcome to bring quiet activities for children to play with in the back of the shrine room.
