The meditation and study group called Making Friends with Death has been meeting for the last seven years. We will begin year 8 by inviting new members to join the group.  This coming year, the group will read Stephen Levine's A Year to Live.

Meetings occur on the first Monday of every month, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. We read patiently, attentively and very slowly: one chapter each month. This allows for deep engagement with our chosen text and ample interaction in our community group.

The first open meeting of Making Friends with Death takes place on Monday, November 4th at 5:30 p.m., when we will meet to review our chosen book.  On Monday, December 2nd, we will discuss the introduction and the first chapter, Catching Up With Your Life, pages 1-7.  In January, membership will be closed to any additional participants.

Our open hearts welcome newcomers.  We have become a supportive, caring container of trust and loving-kindness. If this might enrich your  experience, please join us.
