Making Friends with Death (closed group)

February 10th

    Room: Secondary Shrine Room/Classroom

In the Making Friends with Death group, we select a book on death, dying or grief; usually, we read a chapter a month and then discuss the chapter. Participants in this group take turns facilitating the group. In the past we have read Judy Lief – Making Friends with Death; Rodney Smith – Lessons from the Dying; and Francis Weller – The Wild Edge of Sorrow. We are currently reading Stephen Levine's A Year to Live and expect to finish reading it by the end of 2020. This group is closed to new members until the next book is selected. An announcement will be posted at that time and new members will be welcome.
