Shambhala Training reveals our innate fundamental human goodness, and this discovery motivates us to grow. As we move forward, though, we encounter resistance. By working with the fear underlying this resistance, we can transform our fear into gentle fearlessness and move forward on our spiritual path. This is how bravery is born within us.

Join us for a weekend retreat that will introduce you to the Shambhala teachings and practices of Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche, one of the most influential Buddhist teachers in the West. He offered a secular path of meditation that is open to people of any spiritual tradition or none at all.

This weekend will be taught by Chris Kreeger, a senior teacher who has taught meditation, Shambhala, and Buddhism for over 30 years. The retreat will take place in Chris’ home in Baltimore, affording an intimate gathering where participants can connect with people similarly interested in meditation and develop a supportive, ongoing community of friendship.

The weekend retreat will begin on Friday evening, November 15, from 6:30 PM until 8:30 PM. It will continue Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 AM until 6 PM. Sessions will include meditation instruction, Shambhala path teachings, and discussions.  Full location details for Chris' home will be in the email confirming your registration.

This weekend retreat is suitable for beginners as well as experienced meditators who want to deepen their practice and understanding; prior Shambhala program attendance is not required.

Because Chris’ living room can only accommodate 10 people, we recommend registering early to secure your spot. For everyone to get the most out of this program, we ask that participants make a personal commitment to attend the entire weekend. This helps create a supportive environment for everyone and provides necessary continuity.
