*** The Black Power Meditation Group takes place every other week at Cedarcroft Center at 6112 York Road. ***
(Please scroll down for full location details.)

The nature of Blackness is emptiness, humanity, love, wisdom, nurturing and generosity. The nature of Power is luminosity, fearlessness, clarity and confidence. True Black Power is discovered when we take time to sit and discover our nature as Black people. Let's meditate together and appreciate the uniqueness of being Black while discovering and trusting in what is uncovered in the act of simply being. Let's explore how powerful we are when we go beyond our usual attachments to “me” and how to use that power to effect change in the lives of our families and communities. In that we can organize, mobilize and educate ourselves in a manner that is responsive not reactionary.

    Stillness is the movement.
